ACES offers services to help individuals impacted with autism or other developmental disabilities maximize their full potential. We believe in providing comprehensive services to address all areas of needs for our clients. ACES staff have specialties in speech therapy, occupational therapy, educational and behavioral intervention (ABA). Our services are provided in a variety of settings including the clinic, home, school and community. In addition, as part of our commitment to community outreach, ACES frequently hosts and participates in a wide variety of community events, parent support groups, parent training sessions, and workshops related to autism and other developmental disorders. To assure quality services, we collaborate with professionals in the international Autism community and are participating in various research projects.
ACES is proud to service families of various cultures. We provide services to families who speak Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, Farsi, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi and Hmong.
Early Infant Intervention (0-3 yrs):
Includes assessment, diagnosis, behavioral intervention therapy targeting communication, pre-academics, social, behavior and other age appropriate areas, parent consultation, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
Home Based Behavior Intervention:
Includes home program development targeting communication, self-help, social and behavioral areas, 1:1 home-based behavioral intervention therapy and parent consultation.
Clinic Based Behavior Intervention:
Includes program development targeting academic, communication, social, vocational, and behavioral areas of need, 1:1 behavioral intervention and parent consultation.
Community Based Instruction:
Includes the planning, development and implementation of age appropriate instruction focusing on independence within the local community. Assistance in "on the job" training and mentoring, social skills development, self-help and safety skills training.
Family Programs:
Includes parent consultations, trainings and workshops, sibling training and support groups, We support children at home, in the school, and in the community.
School Collaboration:
Includes needs assessment and program development to target appropriate strategies to successfully achieve the individual's IEP goals. Teacher and district staff training, classroom consultation, aide support, and aide supervision in elementary through high school.
ACES Academy:
Our non-public school focuses on teaching academic, vocational , and functional skills for children with autism and related disorders in grades K-12.
Speech Therapy:
Includes assessment and intervention for children with delays or disorders in receptive language, expressive language, speech sound production, fluency, voice and resonance.
Occupational Therapy:
Includes assessment and intervention for children focusing on sensory integration, improving fine motor, gross motor, visual motor, sensory motor, and social-emotional skills.
