The Science of ABA

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science in which procedures derived from the principles of behavior are systematically applied to improve socially significant behavior to a meaningful degree and to demonstrate experimentally that the procedures employed were responsible for the improvement in behavior. Research has documented that ABA is an effective method for teaching and increasing a wide variety of valuable skills and reducing problem behavior for individuals with autism and related disorders.

"The highest level of education and professionalism of ACES staff, that I have ever witnessed from a similar business working with children of special needs. ACES has been a tremendous influence in shaping our son to be the best that he can be with the ultimate goal of independence. ACES is an integral part of our child's team of educators, insuring consistency of teaching in both the school and home environments." - Susan Mooney
